History

AKG is a private family-owned company founded in 1919 that started with small-scale production of coolers and repair work. The first contracts were drawn up between Autokühler (as a supplier) and the automobile industry over 50 years ago.

Over the years AKG has applied its expertise to new market segments, resulting in a major portion of its current revenue coming from markets such as compressors, compressed air equipment, construction equipment, industrial coolers, automotive vehicles, household appliances and special applications.

As a leading supplier of customer-oriented solutions, AKG has acquired an internationally acclaimed reputation for producing reliable, high-quality radiators and heat exchangers.
